Build Your Blog To Earn More With Google Adsense
You've come here from the Adsense Forum because you are frustrated with the lack of profits you are making with Adsense. You've heard that you can start a blog, paste some Adsense code on it, then spend the rest of the day napping, listening to your iPod, or hanging out at the beach while you make close to $100 per day.
The reality? It doesn't work that way at all. Sadly, many new publishers lose their account by the time they reach the payment threshold. They've either failed to maintain their site, or resorted to some violation against the Adsense Policies. Once you have your account disabled, it is for life.
Before you read any further, I want to be up front with you. I sell products here that can help ...not guarantee...but help you increase the likelihood of earning more profit from your Adsense ads. I also discuss a concept on here that 99% of Internet marketers never touch. It is called Work . You will have to put in, not some ...but a lot of Work...if you expect to make more than pennies per month from your site.
Of all the Adsense strategies, putting in the Work is the one new publishers least like to hear.
Realities of Making Money With Google Adsense
* The people making money with Adsense have been at it several years. They have created hundreds...if not thousands...of web pages. Those using blogs have created hundreds of quality posts to their site. They continue to create new content everyday.
* You can make money from Adsense with a blog, but you are far better off learning how to create static web pages. They do much better with search engines. Blogs are good because they force you to work everyday creating new posts. Use them as stepping stones.
* Make it a goal, right now, to create one new post to your blog everyday. Make it a quality post. Sit down, search for strong keyword phrases, and write to the best of your ability.
* The key to elevating your site in the search engines is to consistently produce original and relevant content that adds value to online searches and is compelling to those searching for information.
* Do everything you can to increase your SEO skills and refine your expressive skills. You write for two audiences...two sets of eyes: the search engine robots, and your human visitors. Both of them must be satisfied or you will not make a lick of money.
* Count on making pennies per month for quite a while. There is a learning curve to finding profitable keyword phrases, writing quality content, and learning solid SEO. If you are intent on having your own website, there will be even more to learn about creating webpages. It will all take some time.
Adsense is a simple monetization plan, but it is not easy. Adsense is a Get-Rich-Real-Slowly program. There is no way to quick riches unless you fill a finite niche with the best information on the Internet. Yes, it could happen, but the chances of it are extremely low. The way others have become successful is through consistent and tedious Work on their sites.
There are two guys who post on the Forum that have put in the time to build huge sites that get over 5000+ unique visitors each day. One is named "1812". He recently revised one of his sites that has more than 900 pages. The Adsense Guru is a guy named "zihara". He has created over 30,000 pages. You read that right...30,000 pages. Both of these guys have been at it many, many years...but now, their profits are on automatic pilot and they make their living with checks from Adsense. Both of them still create new content each day.
If you are going to make money with Adsense, you must treat it like a real job. You must plan your work and work your plan. The emphasis being on Work.
Are you still with me? Is this frustrating you? Do you wish I had some "Get Rich With Adsense!" Google ads for you to click off of here with?
Adsense No-No's - Don't Do This Crap
gddsmith, A very insightful responder on the Adsense Forum once posted a reply that said, "With Adsense, you start in the final round. There are no do-over's or second chances. If you mess up, you lose your account for life."
Burn that into your brain. The Forum is full of publishers who blatantly violated the Adsense Policies they pledged to uphold, and now they are pleading to get their accounts back. It will never happen. Here are the main things that got their accounts flushed.
* Click Fraud is #1. People either click their own ads, or try to game the system by having their friends and family click them. Don't even think about it. The best strategy is to never tell your friends or family that you are monetizing with Adsense or how it works.
* Having copied content on a site is almost tied with Click Fraud. You simply cannot copy someone else's hard work, then paste it on your site and pass it off as your own. That's being a pansy. That's cheating. It shows absolutely no class.
* Signing up for "click exchanges" or "traffic exchanges." Stay away from invitations to either.
* Using Adwords to drive traffic to your own webpage that is monetized with Adsense.
* Holding a "mentoring session" for people in your community who want to learn how to monetize with Google ads, then using your own site as the demonstration model and having the attendees click your ads.

The Google Adsense Application Process - When Will I Be Accepted?
The hardest part after submitting your site for acceptance in the Adsense program is waiting to hear if you have been accepted. Google automatically emails you a message saying they've received your application and you will hear back from them in a week's time. Sadly, this auto-responder message is over four years out of date. In many instances, it has been taking 6 weeks to 3-4 months . It is extremely frustrating to find this out.
The reason behind this is the avalanche of submissions for acceptance from people who slap together a 1-2 page crap site in 30 minutes. These crap sites have overwhelmed the review team. They receive thousands each day...and legit site owners have their application pushed way deep into the pile.
Many aspiring publishers come onto the Adsense Forum upset, ticked, fuming, and extremely frustrated with the lack of movement. They cannot login because they receive a message that their site is "currently under review" ...and has been for quite some time.
The Best Thing You Can Do while waiting is to continue adding one new quality post to your blog each day. Yes, I know it seems like you will be "doing a bunch of Work for nothing" but that is not the case. You will be adding more validity and legitimacy to your site as you write original and relevant content. You will be creating more value on the Internet that should result in more traffic. And, you will be making your site more attractive to the review team. During this time, review the Google Webmaster Guidelines to ensure you are presenting a quality site, and continually review the Google Adsense Program Policies to make sure you are compliant...and will stay that way.
